※ To mention about the process briefly, glass powders and foaming agents are well mixed and then heat-treated at a proper temperature to manufacture cellular glass. During heat-treatment, glass powders should be sintered first and then foams are generated. To obtain foam formation, it is recommended that glass completely surrounds foaming agents and then foaming agents generate gases to make foams. To satisfy these conditions, glass type, particle size, foaming agent type, quantity, heating program etc. should be well controlled.

Cellular glass
manufacturing process largely consists of glass production
process and
cellular glass
manufacturing process. For raw glass,
cellular glass can
be manufactured using waste glass, but the
property of final products depends on the quality
of raw materials.
Thus, although using
waste glass can save cost to produce products, it is not
practical when the aspect of quality of products should be
considered. Therefore, the manufacturing process introduced
here starts with the raw glass manufacturing process of
our company,
Ecocera.
